On the #WorldDownSyndromeDay, Community Based Centers for children with disabilities, in Vlora and Durres, in collaboration with local stakeholders and networks, children with disabilities and their parents and community members appealed for more actions, acceptance and respect for children with Down Syndrome.

About 60 representatives of the local institutions network in Vlora and Durrës regions, which provide services for children with disabilities, are being trained for international and national standards in the field of anti-discrimination and access to public services for children with disabilities as to these standards.

As per Applicants’ Guidelines of the CEFJSAJA’s Sub-Grant Scheme – Round # 2,  the lastest updated timetable is as follows:

To further strengthen child protection and safeguards mechanisms for children, Save the Children in collaboration with the International Child Development Initiative, a knowledge organization in psychosocial development of children and young people, organized an informative session with the child protection professionals. The focus was the “Determination of the Best Interest of the Child’ guideline and how to measure its application.
