On the Roma Week, promoting interculture education and children development

On the occasion of the Roma Week, children, parents and teachers, in 4 kindergartens in Fier and Elbasan, organized various activities aimed at creating a comprehensive environment in and outside the kindergarten.
Children, parents and teachers jointly promoted and developed theoretical and practical activities based on Rome's history, tradition and culture. These activities enhance self-esteem of Roma children and develop understanding, harmony and cooperation between teachers, Roma and non Roma children. They aim at intercultural education and development of children, at early ages, and at the same time promote educational institutions and friendly and inclusive society for all children.
These activities are part of the Early Childhood Care and Development project for Roma Children in Albania supported by the Roma Education Fund (REF) and Medicor.
