Children and Youth active in investement for children issues

Children and youth groups of Durres, Elbasan, Peshkopi and Kucova are playing a significant role and actively taking actions on issues affecting their lives.

Training and empowerment on investment for children issues, participatory budgeting process and how to design and plan projects has enabled them to design 12 projects involving children and youth issues related to school infrastructure in general, lack of heating and playground for children in school, lack of transport for children education living in rural areas and functionality of youth centers. These projects will be submitted to four related municipal councils for discussions aiming their financing and approval for implementation during 2016. This intervention is part of Save the Children project “Unlocking the pot for children rights in Albania” financed by EU.
