Children Keeping Children Safe

Save the Children launched the new project “Children Keeping Children Safe”, funded by Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency which will be implemented in collaboration with the People’s Advocate Institution and State Agency for the Protection of the Child Rights. Through this intervention, we aim to empower children to exercise their right to participate and be heard in matters that affect them by working closely with the Ombudsman of Albania and State Agency for the Protection of Child Rights as well as support and empower these institutions in streamlining child participation in their work.
During the launch, information was shared on the objectives, respective roles, main activities and contributions in achieving the expected results were presented to various stakeholders, including children. The participants had the possibility to contribute in shaping project implementation modalities while children representatives of Child Led Groups Voice16+ from Durres, Elbasan, Peshkopi and Burrel presented their views on project objectives based on their experience and best practices.
