Youth-led Anti trafficking campaign

Community awareness raising activities against violence, abuse and trafficking of children have been the focus of the campaign of the Youth Center in Cerrik supported by Save the Children. It was organized in cooperation with the municipal Child Protection Unit and was part of the human anti-trafficking campaign organized at the national level. Drawing exhibition, video play, messages and information were delivered to support the campaign and bring awareness to children, young people and community about risks of child trafficking violence and abuse.

Youth center in cooperation with the Child Protection Unit in Cerrik, have been for years playing a core role in children and youth capacity development and identification of risky situation for children and youth. It aimed to establish community based child protection mechanisms that can support safe migration and raise community awareness for creation of a protected environment for children and youth.
