Supporting the rights of children in conflict/contact with law
To ensure an enhanced social integration process and crime prevention of minors, Save the Children in partnership with local NGOs, have implemented a wide array of strategies in support of children under/in the age of criminal responsibility.
In this framework, two new protocols are drafted and technically discussed in the meeting with representatives from General Directory of Prisons and of Police, State Agency for the Protection of the Rights of Children, Probation service office, Child Protection Units, UNICEF, OSCE, Save the Children and its local NGOs partners QSHPLI and MERIDIA.
These draft protocols are valued as very important by the stakeholders, in relation to the definition of the roles and responsibilities of professionals in case management process, and in providing protection and adequate service to the needs and reducing recidivism.
