Civil society in action for protection of child rights in Albania
Save the Children and the Terre des Hommes are implementing the project “Civil Society in Action for protection of Child Rights in Albania”, financed by the European Union.
The overall objective of this EU project funded under the Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights is:
- to contribute to the protection of the rights of the child in Albania and;
- strengthen the role of civil society in the protection of the rights of the child in Albania with particular focus on rural and remote areas.
The target groups of the project are: Civil Society Organizations, operating in the field of children’s rights, child protection or human rights in general, community based groups, youth groups, activists as well as citizens' initiatives, professional groups and community based service providers working for and with children.
The current Call for Proposals, effective as of 06 March 2017- 03 April 2017, is for the Sub Granting Scheme (SGS) that is one of main components of the Project which aims to support different local initiatives and to strengthen the role of civil society in the protection of the rights of the child in Albania.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 207,000.
The total project budget for any grant requested under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
Small sub-grants: EUR 5,000.00 - 10,000.00 (up to 7);
Mid-size sub-grants: EUR 10,000.00 - 20,000.00 (up to 10);
The deadline for the submission of applications is 03 April 2017 at 16:00.
